Today’s Topic - The Future of Sales is the Chief Community Officer
I'm incredibly bullish on a role that I think will become a massive part of organizations in the next few years.
Chief Community Officer.
What this role will entail:
Building trust and belonging among customers, employees, and partners.
Turning networks into revenue engines by activating the right connections.
Owning events, forums, and digital communities that strengthen brand loyalty.
Acting as the bridge between marketing, sales, and customer success.
Measuring success not just by pipeline, but by engagement, advocacy, and retention.
In an AI world, building consistent connection with your decision makers will be even more important.
Everybody has access to the same tools.
The differentiator is are you likable and can you provide value to the people you want to do business with.
The best organizations won't just sell products or services, they will cultivate communities that people want to consistently interact with.
I'm already seeing this with a few organizations, but it will become a much bigger part of organizations in the coming months/years.
