What do good personal posts look like on LinkedIn?
With 10 examples

Welcome to The Revenue Generator
Hey there, it’s Harris!
Welcome to the Revenue Generator where I (usually) share 1 tactic each week that you can implement to help you generate more revenue.
The only “hack” for LinkedIn content is posting really good personal content and connecting that to your business.
It’s the only thing that is AI proof right now that nobody else (or a robot) could write.
And our Executives and prospects often ask “what are some good examples?”
So that’s what today’s newsletter is about.
Let’s dive in.

Today’s Topic - Personal to Business LinkedIn Content
I'm very often asked what makes good "personal to business" related posts for Execs on LinkedIn so I wanted to share some ideas and examples here:
Before I do this, this is my answer whenever I get the question "What does the LinkedIn algorithm support right now?"
If you can relate something about your personal life to business, it's the best way to get the most engagement. It's also the best proof that AI didn't write it and you used your brain and your thoughts to put together content which is always going to be the best.
With all this being said, here are a few ideas and examples:
1. What life is like being an Entrepreneur and a Parent - https://lnkd.in/gWDsaZmY
2. The story about how you got into your career - https://lnkd.in/gYD8thEX Rachel (Stemper) Nixon
3. A memorable trip with your child and why it matters -https://lnkd.in/gf64Jz42 Frank Congiu
4. A hobby you have and how that relates to your role - https://lnkd.in/gZAiVpzv Chris Ruppel
5. Something unique that you do at conferences - https://lnkd.in/g9Agxswk Margaret (Maggie) Ruvoldt
6. A recent personal development conference you went to - https://lnkd.in/g9aMh2rQ Joe Moran
7. Sports lessons that translate to the businss world - https://lnkd.in/g7vDtvQr Steve Pemberton
8. Snapshots of the uniqueness of your organization - https://lnkd.in/g_4mwvnh Rich Sheridan
9. How your exercise routine relates to your career - https://lnkd.in/gaNJ735t Jonathan Schreter, CIC, MBA
10. How you spent time during a break with family - https://lnkd.in/gPapFyF4 Peter Kirsch
Just like everything with content creation - this is a muscle you build that gets better the more you do it. And the real gold in doing this is the people who engage.
People in your network who never would've thought of you otherwise engage with the post which gives you a good opportunity to think of them and reconnect.
For an Exec with a strong network, there is so much value in this.
And throwing in a picture from your personal life often helps (although I am pretty anti random selfie for no reason)
