How to Use LinkedIn Sales Navigator
5 quick recommendations
Welcome to The Revenue Generator
Hey there, it’s Harris!
Welcome to the Revenue Generator where I share 1 tactic each week that you can implement to help you generate more revenue.
I get asked all the time by sales professionals how they can best utilize LinkedIn Sales Navigator so I wanted to share my ideas below.
If you think someone else will find this helpful, please forward it along!
Today’s Topic - How to use LinkedIn Sales Navigator
LinkedIn is the best B2B sales tool out there.
And I hear from sales professionals all the time that they have access to LinkedIn Sales Navigator, but aren't utilizing it effectively.
So I put together a quick 5-step guide on how to do so:
Segment your list for your ICP specifically
You can do a ton of segmentation on sales navigator.
You can filter by company headcount, current job title, geography, school, etc.
It makes identifying prospects much easier.
Have they posted within the last 30 days?
This is a filter on Sales Navigator that is severely underrated.
If you research them effectively, you can see what they shared and use that to provide valuable information.
You can even target individuals who post exclusively.
People in your area
In-person meetings > virtual meetings
If you are a salesperson, I think your goal should be as many in-person meetings as possible.
People buy from people and your best opportunity to create that relationship is in person.
Understand your followers
You can use this tool to segment your list of followers and see who might be a good prospect.
You can search your connections by job title, industry, etc. to figure out who you might want to message.
AI feature for recommendations
There is a built-in AI feature that recommends who you should connect with.
However, PLEASE do not use this for messages as it is so obvious when it's fully done with AI.
TL:DR; How to use LinkedIn Sales Navigator:
1. Segment lists for your ICP
2. Find out who is active on LinkedIn
3. Find people in your area
4. Better understand your followers
5. Use AI feature for recommendations
If you use Sales Navigator, I'm curious how else you use it.
Please reply back and let me know!
