A big part of our business at Linked Revenue is helping Executives create genuine, thought leadership content.

And so today, I want to share two things we’re seeing have a lot of success on LinkedIn.

Let’s dive in.

Today’s Topic - Two Types of Content Having Success on LinkedIn

Two ways we're helping our clients stand out in a crowded AI world:

  1. Personal content that connects to their work. Stories, reflections, and insights rooted in real experiences. When an executive talks about what’s happening in their world, it builds trust and relatability.

  2. Video content that showcases who they are. Seeing someone’s face, hearing their tone, and watching their energy immediately makes them more memorable than any block of text.

Neither of these can be done effectively with AI.

Here’s why this matters:

People don’t buy from companies; they buy from people. And nobody wants to scroll past another generic “AI-generated” post. It’s obvious when the voice isn’t authentic.

What your audience really wants is to get to know you, your perspective, your values, and what you care about. That’s what builds relationships, and ultimately, drives opportunities.

A word of caution:

If your content strategy is “Hey ChatGPT, write me a LinkedIn post about X, Y, or Z,” you’ll:

  • See little engagement.

  • Blend into the noise.

  • Burn out quickly when it doesn’t move the needle.

The takeaway:

Do more of the content only you can create - personal, thoughtful, human. Do less of the templated “AI filler” that anyone could have written.
