Welcome to the Revenue Generator where I (usually) share 1 tactic each week that you can implement to help you generate more revenue.

I’ve become pretty obsessed with productivity and efficiency and last week, I took a trip to Ann Arbor to check out Menlo Innovations.

They are a custom software development organization that works in REALLY unique ways.

Today’s Topic - The most innovative company I’ve ever seen

How comfortable would you be if your salary and everyone on your team's salary were out there in the open?

This is one of the really innovative work practices going on at Menlo Innovations.

I've never seen innovation in the workplace quite like what is going on at Menlo.

Here are a few other examples:

1. Everybody at the company works together in pairs. 2 people at 1 computer, all the time.
2. They switch up those pairs every 5 days.
3. They have a continuous performance review cycle.
4. They allow you to bring your baby into the office and everyone helps out. This is how I first got connected and learned about Rich Sheridan. As someone with a 6-week-old baby, this is such an awesome concept.
5. They have 5-day sprints for their clients (they are a software development firm) where they ask their clients to use the software. This helps to ensure the software is easy to use.

And here are a few Rich sayings that I will be adopting:

- "Let's run an experiment"
- "Take action > Take a meeting"
- "Why don't we try it before we defeat it"

If you are near Ann Arbor (or even if you aren't but can travel), I highly recommend you take one of their tours!

And one personal note (with a picture):

I will always drink iced coffee no matter how cold it is. I think it was less than 10 degrees outside but iced coffee > hot coffee no matter what.
