Last week I was in Dallas where I got the chance to present to 350+ Insurance Producers on how they can better use LinkedIn.

Today’s Topic - Takeaways from meeting with 350+ Insurance Producers

I had a great time last week doing several presentations for the Insurance Producers from IMA Financial Group, Inc.

This group is near and dear to my heart as I've had the opportunity to present to them now 3 different times in 3 different cities.

We talked about ways that Insurance Producers can better use LinkedIn as a business development channel.

There were so many examples of Producers utilizing the tool to book new meetings, stay in touch with their network, and build new centers of influence.

There are 4 modes of business development:

  1. In Person (always the best)

  2. Phone (nobody wants to do it)

  3. Email (over-utilized and impossible to stand out)

  4. Social Selling (LinkedIn)

Most people aren't taking enough advantage of social selling.

And LinkedIn is such an underrated tool from a sales perspective and I love traveling around the country to deliver this message.

I absolutely love the culture they have at IMA and it's been great meeting so many people.

As a Founder of a 12-person company, it's nice to experience the energy of a several hundred-person sales organization.
