For those that have followed along here for a few years (wow that’s wild to say), you know that I love LinkedIn and I love using LinkedIn as a business development tool.

While eyeballs and impressions aren’t the main thing that I care about (meetings with valuable people are), we have A TON of data on the types of posts that perform well.

I wanted to share one thing we’re consistently seeing.

Let’s dive in.

Today’s Topic - What Hurts Your Reach

Stop using AI generated images for your posts. We have significant data that shows AI generated posts (even if the written part was done by human) create less engagement.

We are all triggered by AI Content and nobody wants to read what your ChatGPT, Claude, or CoPilot wrote.

AI can be an incredible tool for helping you to figure out what to write, do research, and overall be a thought partner.

But we see BY FAR the most engagement from posts that are clearly said by a human and are human thoughts. As interesting as it might be to "create an agent to post on LinkedIn" it's the best way to get no engagement and drive no real revenue.

Being out here and being a robot does nothing for you.

Be human and share your real thoughts and good things will happen, I promise.
