This week, I’ll be diving into a recent story that I had with someone who was interviewing for the CEO position of a 1,000+ person company.

Over the weekend, I spoke with an individual who missed out on a CEO job of a 1,000+ person company because he didn’t have an online presence.

Whether you like it or not, that’s the new reality.

The company said whoever accepted, they were going to share their LinkedIn and he had nothing on it.

This isn’t something I’ve ever talked about before but it seems to be a bigger and bigger need.

In addition to new sales opportunities, if you are senior enough, having that online presence can make you more attractive for the new job.
