My Entrepreneurship Story
A quick re-introduction

Welcome to The Revenue Generator
Hey there, it’s Harris!
Welcome to the Revenue Generator where I (usually) share 1 tactic each week that you can implement to help you generate more revenue.
I’ve been writing this newsletter every single week for over 18 months now.
That’s well over 70+ editions.
To those who subscribed when I first began, thank you.
And to those who are new to subscribing, I really appreciate you reading and sharing thoughts when certain topics resonate or when you disagree.
I am pretty personal in this newsletter every so often and so that’s what I wanted to do today.
Provide a bit of a reintroduction of who I am and what I’m building here.
Let’s dive in.

Today’s Topic - My Entrepreneurial Story
It’s time for a reintroduction because it's been a little while since I've done this.
I was drafted out of high school to play baseball (very, very, very still not sure that's enough very's... late). Ended up at Lehigh instead.
Got the yips, lost my identity as an athlete, and spent years trying to figure out who I was without the game.
Took a job making cold calls to chief nursing officers because it was the best job I could get. It was BRUTALLY hard but taught me so much about sales and what works/doesn't work.
I moved fast, worked hard, did well… but I knew there had to be something else out there for me.
So I went out to meet with anyone who would speak with me to figure out what I wanted to do, and one of those conversations (probably about the 100th one) was with a coach who helped me figure out what I wanted to do.
I wanted to be an entrepreneur and build my own thing. But it took me several "failed" ventures on the side of my full-time job to identify something that people actually wanted.
Luckily, my amazing wife pushed me to start our company Linked Revenue about 2 years ago and it's been the best thing professionally that's ever happened to me.
We are a company built around a simple but powerful idea:
Executive Demand Gen
Most executives are sitting on goldmines: impressive careers, deep networks, and firsthand insight into what really works in their industry.
But they don’t have the time, the system, or the strategy to turn that into real demand.
That’s where we come in.
We help executives become known (not just liked, but trusted) for the value they bring. And we do it in a way that drives real revenue: warm intros, board seats, advisory roles, strategic deals, etc.
It’s all relationship-driven for busy executives who don't have time. Since launching, we’ve worked with 100+ execs across tech, finance, higher education, non-profit, PE-backed companies, and more.
What’s next?
We’re building the category-defining company in this space - scaling fast, innovating even faster, and making sure we provide the best possible customer experience.
Our clients generate real revenue opportunities.
If you’re an exec with a track record but no real LinkedIn strategy, let’s talk.
Appreciate you being here.
And here's a picture of my family because they are the reason I do all of this.
