How do you take someone from completely cold to warm where you can then potentially sell to them several months down the road?

That’s what LinkedIn selling is all about.

The good news is that it also differentiates you from everybody else just mass-blasting to set up calls.

Today’s Topic - How to take a prospect from cold to warm

As I mentioned above, this is a topic I love.

If I wrote a book, it’d be about how to take a relationship from cold to slightly warm.

I feel like it’s so hard and so many people immediately go for a pitch.

You have to be intentional and long-term focused in your approach.

It’s why I love free, valuable events for a specific ideal customer profile.

You have to do something to build that trust and relationship before you can even think about selling in B2B.

Here are a few of my favorite ideas:

1. Intimate executive dinner with peers

2. Golf outing at an extravagant place

3. Day designed for further learning in a specific niche

4. Tickets to that person’s favorite team/show

5. Interview for thought leadership paper they can share

These are my 5 favorite but I always want to learn more.
