Welcome to the Revenue Generator where I share 1 tactic each week that you can implement to help you generate more revenue.

Most sales teams aren’t doing this.

And it is such a missed opportunity.

Whenever I do presentations for sales leaders on LinkedIn, this is often one of the biggest takeaways.

Let’s dive in.

Today’s Topic - If you lead a sales team, please have your reps do this

It’s very simple.

Have each of your reps find the LinkedIn profile URLs of their prospects.

Hit the bell at the top of their profile.

Every time they post, write something thoughtful.

Do this 3-5x and then match it with a direct message that is related to that.

So few sales reps are doing this and it is such an underutilized tactic in sales.

The key is you can’t use this as an opportunity to immediately pitch them.

Use this as an opportunity to provide value for them, and that doesn’t mean scheduling a meeting with you.

It means sending them a podcast or article related to the content they posted, it means finding a potential buyer for them in your network and making that introduction, or it means just sending a message showing you care about what they posted.

Do things that other people won’t do, and sales will come.

You also have to trust the long game with this.

People can sniff out when it is fake.
