Ideas for Executive Content

To help you begin posting ASAP

Welcome to The Revenue Generator

Hey there, it’s Harris!

Welcome to the Revenue Generator where I (usually) share 1 tactic each week that you can implement to help you generate more revenue.

We work with a very specific ICP:

  • Really strong relationships/network

  • Has thought leadership for their industry

  • Sells high ticket product/services

  • No Time

So we spend all day, every day helping those types of executives write valuable content on LinkedIn.

When we get on the first call with a client it’s often met with, “I’m not sure what to post,” so today’s newsletter is all about this.

Let’s dive in.

Today’s Topic - Executive Content Ideas

Most executives are sitting on years of insight… and sharing almost none of it.

I hear this all the time:

“I don’t know what to post on LinkedIn.”

But then you listen to how that same person talks on a client call or in a leadership meeting, and it’s like… you could turn half of that conversation into great content.

The issue isn’t a lack of ideas. It’s that most executives don’t realize how valuable their day-to-day perspective actually is.

If you’re leading a company, managing clients, or making real decisions every day, you already have more than enough to talk about.

It just lives in your conversations, not in a content doc.

  1. What you’re hearing from clients

Your clients are basically telling you what the market cares about in real time.

The questions they keep asking.
The concerns they bring up.
The things they get excited about.

That’s all content.

Even something simple like:

“Over the last few weeks, almost every conversation I’ve had has come back to [X].”

That’s the kind of post people read and think, “Yeah, we’re dealing with that too.”

  1. What you’re noticing in your industry

You’re already paying attention to what’s going on. Podcasts, articles, trends, conversations.

The opportunity is just saying what you actually think about it.

What’s overhyped?
What’s real?
What are people getting wrong?

A quick reaction to something you’re seeing in the market is often more interesting than a perfectly polished take.

  1. The same problems that keep coming up

Every executive I talk to has a few things that come up again and again.

Hiring.
Long sales cycles.
Getting internal buy-in.
Clients dragging their feet.

If you’re having the same conversation five times in a week, it’s probably worth turning into a post.

Because the people in your network are dealing with the same stuff, they just haven’t said it out loud yet.

  1. Moments that stuck with you

A deal that didn’t go the way you expected.
A decision that ended up being the right (or wrong) one.
A conversation that changed how you think about something.

Those are the things people remember.

You don’t need to overthink it. Just tell the story and what you took away from it.

Why this actually matters

If you have a big network and you’re not sharing anything, people forget what you do.

Not intentionally. There’s just a lot of noise.

But when you show up consistently with real perspective, you stay top of mind.

And more importantly, you give people a reason to reach out.

Most of the opportunities we see don’t come from some viral post.

They come from the right person seeing something at the right time and thinking, “We should talk.”
