Welcome to the Revenue Generator where I (usually) share 1 tactic each week that you can implement to help you generate more revenue.
My philosophy around business development is that the more people you speak with, the closer you get to them, and the more value you provide… the better things will go.
And when it comes to being able to speaking with your ideal prospects, I think you need to be strategic in how you do it.
My favorite model for this is relationship action planning (RAP) which I heard from Keith Ferrazzi in Never Eat Alone.
Let’s dive in.

Today’s Topic - Relationship Action Planning
Relationship action planning can be transformational for a business when done correctly by an executive or salesperosn.
But what is it and how can you do it?
You figure out:
Who are the people either already in your life or that you want to get to know that can transform your business
We grade each person from 0-5 on a relationship score or RQ
0 means you don’t know them and 5 are your closest connections
We then think through, what can we do to provide value to them?
And finally, how can we track this?
It always amazes me how little organizations pay attention to this.
This is a big part of what we do for our clients, most people don’t have the time to be strategic about this.
