If you’ve been reading for a couple of months now, you know how bullish I am on LinkedIn as a B2B sales tool.

And yet what most people do is try to “use it” for a few weeks and give up when it’s not working.

LinkedIn is the long game.

All B2B sales is the long game in my opinion.

Here are my top 3 recommendations for how you can use LinkedIn to generate sales meetings.

Today’s Topic - How to get sales conversations from LinkedIn

I spoke with someone last week who was struggling to get conversations scheduled from LinkedIn.

They were getting a lot of traction with their content but not getting the conversations with their ICP that they wanted.

Here were my top 3 recommendations:

1. Try to introduce that person to a potential client for them

2. Invite them to a free executive event you that your company is doing

3. Interview them for your podcast or a white paper you’re putting out there where they can look smart

Don’t use LinkedIn as a way to get a sales conversation.

It’s a way to build a relationship where you can potentially sell in the future.

You have to be willing to play the long game.
