The aspects of being an entrepreneur and building a business that aren’t talked about enough:

(Sorry, some of these are pretty negative, but they're real)

  1. The highs are really high and the lows are really low

  2. It’s a lot of pressure to be in charge of paying a salary to many people every week

  3. It’s really effing painful when clients decide to pause the partnership or leave altogether

  4. Most people on social media are lying about what’s actually going on if they share real numbers

  5. You learn very early on the type of people you like working with and those that you don’t. You also probably don’t get to choose for a pretty long time

  6. If you find an employee who loves and cares for your business like you do, it is such an amazing partnership

  7. Finding good people is really hard

  8. Building a remote team is really hard, and there are many challenges that I don’t think many workforces are fully set up to deal with

  9. You'll end up working on a lot of deals where nothing will happen for 12+ months (such is life in sales)

  10. If you're a driven Founder, you're almost always going to push yourself to burnout at some point (been there)
