5 Missed Opportunities With LinkedIn
Make sure you aren't doing these
Welcome to The Revenue Generator
Hey there, it’s Harris!
Welcome to the Revenue Generator where I share 1 tactic each week that you can implement to help you generate more revenue.
This week, I’ll be sharing the 5 most common missed opportunities that I see individuals make when trying to generate revenue from LinkedIn.
If you think someone else will find this helpful, please forward it along!
Today’s Topic - The 5 Most Common Missed Opportunities on LinkedIn
LinkedIn is the best B2B sales tool out there.
Yet so many people are not using it to its highest potential.
These are the top 5 biggest mistakes that I see sales professionals making.
Not checking who views your profile
LinkedIn tells you who views your profile if you have Sales Navigator.
There’s a good chance, if you’re generating content, that your ICP is showing up on your profile.
Use this information to send them a value-added direct message.
Going weeks without posting
Most people that I talk to don’t ever post on LinkedIn.
If you never post, you never have an opportunity for someone to find your business and want to buy your product/service.
Don’t worry about being judged and write to one specific ICP.
Not commenting on your prospect’s posts
Everyone gets a dopamine hit when they see the likes/comments show up on their post.
That includes your prospect.
They are more likely to be willing to take your call if you show up consistently and thoughtfully to their posts.
Never sending direct messages
I talk to a lot of people who are afraid to send direct messages.
And that’s probably because many of the direct messages we all receive are terrible.
Be value-added and not desperate and you will stick out from 90% of people sending those messages
Not following up if someone doesn’t respond after 1 message
We are all busy and just because someone doesn’t respond after 1 message, doesn’t mean you should give up.
It often takes 9+ outreach opportunities for a prospect to reply to an email.
The same can be said for a LinkedIn message.
Getting Started with LinkedIn
I created a guide to help you get started with LinkedIn.
It gives you everything you need to set your profile up for success, send direct messages to your ideal client, and begin generating revenue from LinkedIn.
