I shared 3 ways you can stand out from everyone else that is reaching out to your prospects via LinkedIn.

Today’s Topic - 3 Pieces of Advice for Selling on LinkedIn

If you’ve been on LinkedIn long enough, you’ve gotten those TERRIBLE automated sales messages that are sent out to thousands of people.

The bad news is that they tend to clog the inboxes of your prospects.

The good news is that this lowers the barrier to entry for actually sending good messages.

This means that if you can send a message that isn’t automated and actually provides them value, you have a much higher chance of building a connection with your prospects.

I believe that “LinkedIn selling” is all about getting your prospects into your world and ironically, not about actually selling them.

Nobody is buying from a cold message on LinkedIn.

Your job is to provide so much value to that other person that they are willing to have a conversation with you via a Zoom call, or phone call, join your webinar, and/or join an in-person event.

So when it comes to my 3 biggest recommendations for getting your ICP (ideal customer profile) to be interested in you, it comes down to this:

  1. Always be a human

  2. Provide value no matter

  3. Never sell in the first message

You will stick out from all the other cold spammers just by doing this.
