Today’s Topic - The 2026 LinkedIn Playboo
LinkedIn keeps changing, but the fundamentals for 2026 are getting clearer.
Here’s what I’m telling every founder, exec, and revenue leader we work with:
Unique point of view over polish
In 2026, the algorithm is rewarding people who take a stance. Not recycled AI advice. Not generic leadership quotes. Real opinions from real operators.
Personal story + lesson beats everything
Short stories tied to a takeaway still outperform long explainers. The more specific the story, the better the reach and trust.
Your network becomes a referral engine
People buy from people they’ve seen, heard from, or learned from. The execs winning on LinkedIn have 1 thing in common: They stay visible to the people who matter most. It's a consistency game more than anything. Posting 5 days a week one time won't lead to any deals. Posting twice a week for 6 months will.
DMs are where revenue happens
The algorithm isn’t your growth strategy. Relationships are. Check who engages with your posts and use that as an excuse to reach out. Build a relationship before you pitch someone.
5.. Track companies, not vanity numbers
Follower count ≠ pipeline. You should know:
which companies are liking your content
who’s viewing your profile
which titles repeatedly engage
That’s how deals get sourced. And my overall message - be human and be consistent.
If you have a strong network, you are human, you are consistent, and you send direct messages - I promise that you will generate revenue from this platform.
